Stardust Promotions was started in 1990 by Capt. J. A. Lewis, a well-known Tampa Florida singer/songwriter.

Captain Lewis has performed throughout the Tampa Bay area for over 30 years under the name of "Gator Tail" and is widely regarded as one of the best honky-tonk piano-playin', saxophone-blasting, story-telling performers in the area. His Gator Tail Band performed consistently at the best night clubs in town, even garnering the coveted first prize at the 1982 "Wild Turkey Battle of the Bands".

While touring as a musical support act for the NWA and the Ted Turner Broadcasting Network, throughout the 80's, Captain Lewis's longtime friendship with NWA wrestlers Dusty Rhodes, Lex Luger, Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson, Ravishing Rick Rude, and Nature Boy Rick Flair, to name but a few, led to an opportunity to make a commercial connection for screen printed merchandise for these great athletes.

Thus, was born!

Today, Stardust Promotions occupies a 1,000 square foot production facility, complete with computer graphic arts department, full camera and darkroom capabilities, multiple screen press options, fully automated drying systems, computerized embroidery production line and MUCH, MUCH MORE!
